Applying for Membership
Organizations interested in representing a new country are encouraged to consult the current IOI Regulations and contact the Secretary of the IOI. New members must have the necessary resources, scientific expertise, authorization and ability to reach all potential contestants in the country. It is normally expected that a national level exam ("olympiad") that tests algorithmic knowledge and programming skill is already in place. However, if this is not the case, the IOI is happy to provide support and guidance leading towards a future membership application.
