Online practice session and grading environment

August 14th, 2024 in Competitions

Dear IOI leaders,
The online practice session is starting now. Both the leaders and the contestants will receive CMS access instruction in a separate email. If you do not receive the email within the next 24h, please reach out to info@ioi2024.eg. The online practice session runs until 23:59 on August 27th EEST.

Also, we have released the grading environment document. This document replaces the notice that we attached to the tasks on each contest day.

The alternative submission mechanism described there is not available for the online practice session.

There is a small update/clarification on the meaning of “Protocol violation” feedback.

The -static option used in the compilation commands / compilation scripts provided in task packages may not work correctly on Mac OS X. Mac OS X users are advised to not use it and edit the compilation scripts accordingly.
