Call for DSA nominations

Dear colleagues, 
As you are likely aware, the IOI sometimes recognises individuals for their contribution to the IOI through Distinguished Service Awards (DSAs).

This email is a call for nominations for DSA(s) to be presented at IOI 2025.

Nominees should have made a significant contribution to the activities and development of IOI, beyond the usual activities of a Delegation Leader, Deputy Leader, or IOI Host. They should have attended IOI for at least five years as a member of an official IOI body or delegation and must not be current members of the International Committee. Individuals who have passed away may still be nominated.


There is a form for nominations. Submissions must be sent to secretary.ioinformatics_at_gmail.com and received by the deadline of March 14, 2025.

The IOI is one of five international science olympiads. The primary goal of the IOI is to stimulate interest in informatics (computing science) and information technology.

Another important goal is to bring together exceptionally talented pupils from various countries and to have them share scientific and cultural experiences.
